Forthcoming Events:

Glanton Memorial Hall - window replacement

Planning permission has come through a year after we initially applied. Unfortunately this delay has meant that the DEFRA funding stream we were going to approach has closed, however we continue to look at other possible funding schemes.

NTC Comedy of Errors

Performed in NTC's inimitable style this will be fast and furious fun whilst taking an irreverent look at love and marriage, social standing, money and the law.

If you enjoy sitcom you'll love this. If you love Shakespeare you'll enjoy this. If you love both then don't, whatever you do, miss this.

Suitable for children 9 and over.

Parish Council

Sign posts

Work has been completed on assessing the replacement of the signposts and we are now awaiting quotations and identifying funding opportunities to move forward.

Bus Services

The Council contacted the bus service to confirm why the service had been withdrawn. It was confirmed that it was due to the subsidy being withdrawn by the County Council. This, along with a great many routes in the county, were deemed less of a priority for allocation of scarce resources.

Playground

An initial meeting has been held between the Parish Council and a representative of the parents. Further information will be gathered by the parents group to confirm what is required and how feasible it is.
